The keyboard comes with an on-board disk drive that is very compatible. The drive reads off a General MIDI files of type 0,1 and 1+lyrics. This drive also records performances done on the keyboard directly onto disk so you can actually create your own general MIDI files.There are special disks in the Solton library that contain PCM rhythem grooves coupled to a style. Using SYNCGROOVE the PCM grooves automatically synchronize with the internal tempo and with the various internal accompaniment sections. In this manner, styles with a particularlt penetrating rhythem are obtained.
